PU Foam - Professional

It can be bonded with most building materials (wood, plaster, cement, mortar, concrete, brick, stone, metal) and plastics (Styrofoam, PVC).

It uses to fill and seal gaps, joints, cracks and holes in a variety of building structures. The cured foam has excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties and isolates air flow and moisture.

Applications

• Install and seal door, window frames.
• Fill and seal joints, cracks and holes in cavity walls, partitions, ceiling, floor and roof structures.

• Can use as packaging fillers.

How to use

• To ensure its adhesion, surface should be free from grease and dust. Please wear rubber gloves during application to avoid contamination with foaming agent.
• Shake the can vigorously for around 20-30 seconds to have a good mixture of the content.
• Screw the can to PU foam dispensing gun properly. Do not over-tighten or it will break the valve.
• It is recommended to moisten surfaces with some water spray before applying, so that the foam will achieve the optimum expansion and faster curing.
• Turn on the round knob counterclockwise (at the rear of the gun). Before starting your work, slightly press the trigger for 3 seconds to dispense the foam onto scrap materials and check if the foam is mixed correctly.
• For using on vertical surfaces, follow the direction from bottom to top. Since the foam will expand, apply it carefully to avoid excessive usage and waste.
• The foam becomes non-sticky after about 20 minutes, can be cut after about 2 hours, and totally hardened within around 24 hours (it might differ from thickness, environment and condition).
• Protect foam from UV light by a coating or covering such as paint and plaster is recommended to avoid discoloration.
• For continuous construction, keep one can on the dispensing gun. After finished, use PU foam cleaner to clean the gun housing and gun tip to prevent blockage.
• If the foam already hardened, it can be removed mechanically only, like scratching with blade or abrading with sandpaper.
